भारतीय महिला फेडरशन की घाटशिला इकाई ने अंतरराष्ट्रीय महिला दिवस पर किया दोना-पत्तल उत्पादन केंद्र का उद्घाटन

आज अंतरराष्ट्रीय  महिला दिवस के अवसर पर भारतीय महिला फेडरेशन की घाटशिला इकाई ने घाटशिला प्रखंड के सरजामडीह गांव में आदिवासी महिलाओं के आर्थिक स्वावलम्बन हेतु दोना-पत्तल उत्पादन केंद्र का उद्घाटन किया. इस काम के लिए फेडरेशन की इकाई ने एक मशीन भी केंद्र को उपलब्ध कराया है. इस मौके पर इप्टा के साथियों नें भी पूरा सहयोग और भागीदारी की. आई सी सी मजदूर यूनियन के महासचिव कॉम ओम प्रकाश सिंह मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में मौजूद रहे. सबसे पहले केंद्र की सजावट रंगीन पताका लगाकर की गयी. मशीन पर साथी रुपाली ने विशेष अर्थ में 'लाल पताके' लगाकर सजाया. इप्टा और फ़ेडरेशन के साथियों ने "गाँव छोड़ब नाहीं" और "वो हमारे गीत क्यों रोकना चाहते हैं" जैसे जनगीत गाकर आगाज़ किया. इसे स्वर दिया अर्पिता श्रीवास्तव, सत्यम, दिलीप सरकार, ज्योति, शेखर, भूमि, मल्लिका, मुगली, रिया, राजा, रुपाली, साकरो, तारा देवी आदि ने. संचालन शेखर मल्लिक और सत्यम ने संयुक्त रूप से किया. गाँव की उत्साही महिलाएं आ जुटी थीं और माहौल बेहद उत्सवपूर्ण हो गया था. सत्यम ने संचालन करते हुए अपने विचार भी रखे और 'अंतरराष्ट्रीय महिला दिवस' के इतिहास पर रौशनी डाली. इकाई की उप सचिव लतिका पात्र ने अपने विचार रखते हुए कहा कि यह हमारे लिए एक महत्वपूर्ण अवसर है कि अपने पैरों पर खड़े होने के लिए इस तरह का कुटीर उद्योग हम महिलाओं के लिए शुरू कर रहे हैं. आप सभी इससे लाभान्वित होंगे और यह दिन हमारी महिला वर्ग के लिए ख़ुशी का दिन है.   अनेक जगहों पर इस दिन को मनाया जा रहा है. इकाई की अध्यक्षा कॉमरेड सुनीता मुर्मू ने स्थानीय संताली भाषा में ही सम्बोधित करते हुए महिला साथियों के मनोबल बढ़ाने वाली बातें कहीं.  गाँव के प्रधान सुखदेव टुडू ने भी इस मौके पर अपने विचार रखे और कहा कि यह बहुत ही हर्ष की बात है कि महिलाओं के स्वरोजगार के लिए यह एक केंद्र खुला है. उन्होंने महिला दिवस की सभी को बधाई और शुभकामनायें दीं. वरिष्ठ कॉमरेड भुवनेश्वर तिवारी ने कहा कि महिलायें प्रत्येक क्षेत्र में आज आगे बढ़कर हिस्सेदारी कर रही हैं. वे ऑटो भी चला रही हैं और हवाई जहाज तक. कौन कहता है कि वे कमजोर हैं ! इस तरह के केंद्र और खुलें और और भी महिलाएं जुड़ें.  महिलाओं के स्वरोजगार का यह अच्छा उपाय है. मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में कॉम ओम प्रकाश सिंह ने कहा कि यह बेहद महत्वपूर्ण प्रयास है. महिलाओं के स्वावलंबन के लिए फ़ेडरेशन की पहल सराहनीय है. सचिव ज्योति की उन्होंने सराहना की. उन्होंने आगे फेडरेशन के अभियानों में पूरा सहयोग करने की बात कही.
इसके बाद केंद्र की 'मरांग दाई' यानि 'बड़ी दीदी' (केंद्र की संचालिका को हमने यह नाम दिया है!) सरस्वती टुडू ने भी सम्बोधित करते हुए इसे एक बड़ा अवसर बताया और गाँव की महिलाओं को मन लगाकर काम में जुटने का आह्वान किया. इकाई की सचिव कॉम. ज्योति ने कहा कि यह शुरुआत है. हम और भी मशीनें लगायेंगे अगर आप सब इस काम को करने और फेडरेशन से जुड़ने को इच्छुक हों. यही नहीं फेडरेशन को आप अपनी कोई भी समस्या बताएं, चाहे वह बच्चों की पढ़ाई से सम्बन्धित हो, स्वास्थ्य की हो या कोई भी, हम उसमें सहयोग करेंगे. अर्पिता दीदी के सुझाव पर यह भी जोड़ा कि संगठन में रहने से एकजुटता की ताकत हासिल होती है. यह महत्वपूर्ण है. फ़ेडरेशन द्वारा स्थापित इस केंद्र में फिलहाल सात महिलाएं दोना-पत्तल उत्पादन के काम में जुडी हैं और आगे और अधिक महिलाओं के जुड़ने की संभावना और ख़ास उत्साह देखा जा रहा है.  
अंत में महिला दिवस पर सभी महिला साथियों के सम्मान और आभार के लिए गाँव के पुरुष कलाकारों ने धमसा और तुम्दा बजाया और उस पारम्परिक धुन पर सभी महिला साथियों (इप्टा, फेडरेशन की और ग्रामीण महिलाओं) ने पारम्परिक नृत्य भी किया. इसके बाद दिलीप सरकार ने अपनी रसोई (जिसमें केंद्र की साथिनें, रुपालीऔर ज्योति ने सहयोगी भूमिका निभाई) का सबके लिए लजीज खिचड़ी व सब्जी बना कर खिलाई और मौजूद सभी ने उनकी पाककला का लोहा माना! 
फ़ेडरेशन ने इस पहल के साथ अपनी सदस्यता बढ़ाने के लिए और संगठन का फैलाव करने की दिशा में एक मजबूत कदम उठाया है. इस मौके पर उपरोक्त उल्लिखित नामों के आलावा उपाध्यक्षा रूपा सरकार, भवानी, स्नेह्ज और गाँव केबच्चे और स्त्री -पुरुष भी उपस्थित थे.  
(गाँव से लौटने के पहले साथी सत्यम ने इस मौक पर मौजूद साथियों और ग्रामवासियों को नागरिकता संशोधन कानून, राष्ट्रिय नागरिकता पंजी और जनसंख्या रजिस्टर के बहाने सरकार की मंशा और आम नागरिक समाज पर मंडराते संकट और उससे लड़ने की बात कही. सत्यम ने बताया किआदिवासियों पर भी इन कानूनों से क्या खतरे हैं और कैसे वे उड़ीसा, छत्तीसगढ़ और अन्यत्र विरोध कर रहे हैं. महिलाएं तो इससे सबसे ज्यादा प्रभावित हुईं. लगभग 65 प्रतिशत. असं में इस एन आर सी से 19 लाख नागरिकता खो बैठे और एक महिला के पास 15 तरह के दस्तावेज होने के बावजूद उसकी नागरिकता साबित करने को पर्याप्त नहीं माने गये.)

NFIW Ghatshila unit Celebrates International Women's Day with inaugurating Dona-Pattal (Leaf Plates) Production Center

Ghatshila, 8th March . Today the Ghatshila chapter of NFIW observed International Women's Day by inaugurating Dona-Pattal (Leaf Plates) Production Center for self economic dependency of rural women at Sarjamdih village in Ghatshila Sub divion of East Singbhum District (Jharkhand), the first may be of many in the pipeline. For this, the NFIW unit has provided a semi electric machine for operation to the rural women comrads of this Center. The IPTA prople from Ghatshila were also took very important and active part in the whole process and this event.  First of all the Center was decorated well with colorful flags (Jhandiyan). Com. Rupali decorated the Machine body with red flages with a meaningful objective! Comrads from IPTA and NFIW members sang mass songs like "Gaang Chhodab Naahin" (We will not leave our village) and "Wo hamare geet kyon rokna chahte hain" (Why they want to stop us from singing) to start off the event. Arpita, Satyam, Dilip Sarkar, Rupali, Jyoti, Shekhar, Muglee, Raja, Mallika, Riya, Bhumi, Sakaro, Tara Devi etc voiced these songs. The whole atmoshphere was enthusiastic and festive as women came together at the venue. The programe was hosted jointly by Shekhar and Satyam. Satyam also threw light on the histroy af International Women's Day. Joint Secretary Com. Latika Patra expressed her view as this is an important opportunity as this kind of cottage industry of sort is being started by us. You all would be benefited by this. This day is being celebrated everywhere with joy and truly its a day of joy for all of us. Unit presedent Comrade Sunita Murmu addressed the fellow members and gathering in native indeginious Santalli language that really went well. She said some incouraging words to them. The Village Headman Sukhdev Tudu was also presnt and he expressed his happiness on the opening of such good center for women's self earning. He offered greetings to all on this day. Senior CPI leader Com. Bhuvneshwar Tiwari also adressed the gathering and said that, today women are leading and exceling in every field. Being airoplane piolot to auto-driver. Who can say that they are 'weak'? He said that such centers are needed to be open in numbers and more women should be made attached to them.   This is a wonderful way of providing opporunitiy for earing to rural women.
ATUC leader and GS of ICC Worker's Union Com. Om Prakash Singh who was the Chief Guest, said that its is an important step. The initiative by the Federation of women's self dependency is highly appreciatable. He praised unit secretary Com. Jyoti for this. He offered his best help in NFIW unit's next ventures. 
The Center's leading lady, we have given her the title 'Maraang Dai' (Elder Sister/ Badi Didi) Com. Sarsawti also exprresed her views on this day and event. She admited that this is a big opportunity for us. She also urged the village women to come forward and join the Center, work whole heartedly. 
Unit Secretary Com. Jyoti Mallik then said that this is just a begining and more machines would be installed if you all wish to work and join the Fedration. Not just this, if you have any problem regarding children's education, health or any, fedration would love to offer support to you. On the suggestion of Arpita didi, it was also mentioned that, being in the Sangthan, the strength of unity is achived and that is important. 
At present seven women are working at this center which is surly to be increased in near future as the enthusiasm is clearly visible. 
Finally, as the token of respect to all women comrades, the village artist played traditional Dhamsa and Tumda and the women (IPTA, NFIW and locals) joined in the traditional dancing.
IPTA's Dilip Sarkar, who was aptly supported by Jytoi and Rupali with Center's comrades, cooked and offered very delicious Khichdi and Sabji to everybody and made averyone fan of his cooking ability. The fedration with this, have taken a large and strong step towards expension of the Sangthan and increment in the membership. Vice President of Unit Rupa Sarkar, Mrs. Bhavani and Snehaj along with many children, ladies and gents of village were present at the event.  
(Before leaving the village Com. Satyam spoke a litte about CAA-NRC-NPR and the intension of this Govt. to the present friends and villagers. He expressed the dangers looming large on the society and need to fight with it. Satyam told what are the danger particulary on the indeginious people of this country and how in Orissa, Chhatisgarh and elsewhere they are opposing. Womens are most and worst effected by this laws. Almost 65 percent of them. In Assam, 19 lakhs people lost thier citizenship and a women having 19 documents still cound find it enough to prove her citizenship.
